Singer Patti LaBelle is not very impressed with the judges on 'American Idol'. She won't say specifically which ones, though.

“Some of the judges, I don’t think they’re qualified to even judge,� she said in an interview Wednesday.

She finds the judges' criticism to be very harsh:

“The comments that were made, they could make you like wanna kill yourself,� the 65-year-old singer said.

Patti offered her own advice to the contestants:

“If you believe in yourself, just go for it. What do you have to lose? And when people tell you ‘You can’t,’ you have to say, ‘I can.’�

Patti was reportedly asked to be a judge before the gig was offered to Paula Abdul back in the show's beginning.
