I hope this isn’t true, because it’s not a cool way to bring in the new year, and I won’t be able to keep my first resolution – which is to marry Katy Perry in 010.
Brand, who began dating Perry in September, sparked rumors he would settle down with the singer after he was photographed shopping for a diamond ring at a Cartier jewelry store earlier this month. According to Britain’s Daily Mirror, the “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” star proposed during Perry’s trip to his native Britain last week.
A source says, “He asked her to marry him last week and she quickly said yes. They don’t know when the wedding will be but they are planning to make it in 2010 if the schedules can work. Russell is searching for a jewelry designer to create a ring in time for the New Year.”
Nicole Richie is appearing on the season premiere of ‘Project Runway’. Nicole will be a guest judge when the series kicks off it’s 7th season in two weeks. It sounds as if she’s made quite an impression on the producers:
“Nicole is a fabulous guest judge,” says “Project Runway” executive producer Sara Rea. “She has strong opinions and gives clear and specific constructive criticism to the designers. Also, she isn’t afraid to disagree with the other judges.”
The series premiere is scheduled for January 14th. Are you a fan of the show? I might have to tune in to watch her!
Any ‘Californication’ fans out there? I really think they should get Nicole on the show as a sister to Natascha McElhone’s character, Karen. (see the last thumbnail below) There’s just something about her that always reminds me of Nicole. The hair, the facial features, the bohemian style. lol

I’m pretty sure that if I ever saw Tyra Banks in person, I would hire a butch woman to punch her in the face. (I am against men hitting women) Apparently, some of her employees, who found out the show would be ending with the rest of the world, feel the same way.
“There had been high turnover of employees for years. It was pretty difficult to work for Tyra. She and the higher-ups on the production staff could be extremely brutal. She really is a diva.”
“When the show moved from L.A. to New York, several staffers weren’t even directly told about the change – they heard through the grapevine that it was going to move locations. Even so, a lot of those people gave up their lives on the West Coast so they could continue working for the show. Now they’re out of luck.”
“Everything had to be done Tyra’s way.”
