Christina Ricci And Lindsay Lohan Enjoy The Castelbajac After-Party In Paris

Christina Ricci, Lindsay Lohan and Dita Von Teese were among the celebrities that attended an after party following the Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Ready to Wear show as part of the Paris Womenswear Fashion Week.

Christina must be on a break from filming her upcoming movie ‘Bel Ami’ (with Robert Pattinson), or perhaps she’s already done shooting her scenes?

It looks like Dita had a much more “mellow” time at the party than Christina, right? ;)

Lindsay Lohan pictures Dina Lohan pictures E-trade lawsuit

Dina Lohan fully supports Lindsay’s decision to sue E-Trade over their ad (which premiered during the Super Bowl). Dina told the New York Post that Lindsay called her in tears after seeing the ad.

“She said, ‘Mommy, help me. This is wrong. How can they do this?’

“They’re little babies doing this, mocking another child who’s just trying to survive Hollywood, basically,” Dina Lohan said.

“I’m just basically glad I took a stand. I’m not going to let them do this to us anymore,” Dina Lohan said of the “horrible” and “mean” ad.

So this really doesn’t sound like a rumor at this point, unfortunately.

Dina said Lindsay is recognizable by her first name only, just like Cher or Madonna. Yet E-Trade maintains that Lindsay is a popular baby name.

I still can’t believe they’re asking for $100 MILLION in damages. I mean, even if Lindsay is right (and I think that’s really questionable, just because her name is nowhere near as distinctive as Cher, Madonna, or Oprah, for example), is it worth $100 million?

You all know I’m pulling for Lindsay, but this just doesn’t seem like a step in the right direction to me.

Lindsay Lohan pictures suing E-trade ad $100 million

According to the New York Post, Lindsay Lohan is suing the financial company E-Trade over an ad that uses her name.

The ad is two babies talking via computer; the girl baby is upset about the boy baby not calling the night before. She asks if he was spending time with another “milkaholic” baby named Lindsay.

Lindsay’s lawyer explained the lawsuit to the Post:

“Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit,” Ovadia said.

“They used the name Lindsay,” Ovadia said. “They’re using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn’t they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody’s talking about it and saying it’s Lindsay Lohan.”

Apparently Lindsay wants the ad taken off the air and $100 million: $50 million for exemplary damages and another $50 million for compensatory damages.

E-trade claims Lindsay is a popular baby name and is the name of someone on their account team.

The lawyer cites celebrities like Madonna and Oprah who are known on a first name basis. I see one problem with this: Lindsay is a much more common name than either Madonna or Oprah.

Take a look at the commercial:

What do you think: does Lindsay have a case?
